Seeing the forest through the trees is a metaphor that describes how healthy or complete our perspective is. It is often found painstakingly with lived experience, self reflection, and heeding the cues of our nervous systems and of trusted individuals who see us. It takes time, and is often more challenging for those of us with a history of attachment ruptures, or feeling alone with adverse life experience, unable to make sense of or integrate it.

It is a privilege to do the work of "seeing" individuals holistically who come through my practice. It is a serious undertaking that I do my best to keep light, for the lightness of being is the elusive ingredient that we need to balance heavy burdens.

I consider myself to be highly sensitive with the ability to connect to others in a loving way. At the foundation of a therapeutic relationship is a safe container to express yourself in, which I can provide without judgment.
